La mélodie de cette chanson (écrite par J Fishman, G Bigazzi, et R Del Turco) est très connue en France car elle fut adaptée par P Delanoe et chantée par Joe Dassin sous le titre « Le Petit Pain au Chocolat », une charmante petite histoire de jeune boulangère amoureuse de son client myope et distrait.

Le texte original est très différent et plus banal, mais ce fut néanmoins l’un des succès des « Herman’s Hermits », à qui l’on doit surtout « No Milk Today », au milieu des années 60.
